The original build diary

Five days of islands getting stranger.

These are the dated dispatches written while V1, V2, V3, and V4 were being built and revisited. They keep the discoveries, jokes, mistakes, and original source links in place.

Short field notes

The smaller observations live beside the diary: ship design, strange compositions, animal behavior, concept art, and the beautiful storm glitch.

August 9, 2026 · V4 begins

The next island starts with the robot.

The five-day diary ends with V3. One week later, the first V4 preview changes the robot’s body and the way it moves. The goal is simple: make the explorer feel more alive and make the island more fun to play.

In V3 the ship answered a story question. In V4 it became a way to travel.

Why keep the old pages?

A finished world hides its footprints.

The diaries show what the clean version cannot. They show when a feature was still a guess, when a creature behaved oddly, and when a visual mistake opened a better idea.

The dates and original source links remain on every entry.
