Experiment in sprite generation failed but at the same time… became a kind of art all unto itself.

Why this note matters

This is the kind of small artifact that makes field notes useful: the experiment did not hit the intended production target, but it exposed a texture worth keeping.

Sprite generation sits between tooling, style transfer, and game-world memory. Even when the output is wrong, it can reveal what the model thinks “sprite” means and where the next constraint should be added.
