Week 2 of Summer into AI 2026 hosted by @advisoryhour — theme: Red, White & Boom.

Liberty Fireworks is an Oregon Trail–style colonial game where you shop a 1776 town, wire your own mortar rack, and let Claude’s Town Council judge your show live — shell by shell.
How the AI works
Brief generation — Claude tool-calls a structured schema to produce a show brief: occasion, required colors, minimum shells, finale type, crowd size, and a council note in period voice. Every run is a different historical moment (Treaty of Paris, Washington’s Birthday, Yorktown Victory).
Shopkeeper voices — Each shopkeeper streams in-character advice and then speaks it aloud via ElevenLabs TTS. Old Jacob at the Powder House, Mistress Hawthorne at the Ironmonger, and Young Thomas at the General Store each have their own voice and remember if you've been in before.
Show evaluation — Claude receives a shell-by-shell breakdown of your actual show (position, type, color, dye, delay, whether it was the finale) and streams a vivid colonial verdict referencing specific shells you fired. SPLENDID / ADEQUATE / DISAPPOINTING / A DISGRACE.
Crowd sound — ElevenLabs sound generation produces a real crowd cheer or boo at the results screen based on your verdict.

How to play
Read the Town Council brief — note required colors, shell minimum, and finale type
Walk the colonial town (arrow keys) and enter the three shops to spend your 120 Liberty Dollars
Load shells into mortar slots, apply dyes to recolor, set fuse timing for your sequence
Hit FIRE and watch the show while Claude streams the crowd reaction live
Receive your verdict — and hear the crowd cheer or boo via ElevenLabs
