What it is

The story of a competition that got delightfully out of hand.

The Build Issue follows Summer Into AI from a midnight ride with Paul Revere to a walkable arcade full of the season's projects. Along the way: baseball through a hole in time, a million glowing points, federal data in a starship, a radio rescued from an older world, and one bear with excellent timing.

Six fictional magazine voices tell different kinds of stories. The four-page Mailroom lets loading screens, spreadsheets, maps, and arcade cabinets complain to the editor. The printed issue stands on its own. The browser edition keeps the live routes to posts, demos, and code.
