This was a small logistics note, but it mattered because Spring into AI was never only a prompt list. The competition needed visible stakes, a finish line, and a few tangible artifacts that made the public sprint feel real to the people doing the work.

Why it belongs in the build log

The medals were a lightweight signal that the sprint had moved from an online challenge into a real participant experience: weekly themes, public receipts, judging, recognition, and something physical waiting at the end.
