Musiclab is my TikTok-ification of music. You can swipe to different albums and listen in. Many of these albums are brought in from experiments in gamelab or from demos in the broader public sphere. Today I have an update for two new albums: Folded Thunder and PowerPillGo!

The albums represents a unique soundscape. PowerPillGo is a broad background music set of beats with a single thru line. The Folded Thunder album is as much about storytelling as it is the ambient soundtracks. Folded Thunded joins Pip the Dinosaur on his adventures to foil Mr. Blank’s dastardly adventures.
PowerPillGo!
PowerPillGo is a fusion of TeenTitansGo! meets DrMario. I felt that these two worlds could collide in an interesting way. In order to avoid the wrath of IP defenders everywhere, I drew inspiration from the cartoon nature of TTG and the broad gameplay ideas of DrMario and have a unique title that’s simply headlined as PowerPillGo! The jokes involving this title are many and they are hilarious and unstated. I’ll leave that as an exercise for the reader.
Pip the Dinosaur in Folded Thunder
I’ve written more than I ought about Pip the Dinosaur. This project just captives me on so many levels. The little paper folded dinosaur is a ridiculous favorite and I’ll own up to it. If you’ve never experienced Pip, then please grab a desktop machine and give Pip and try over at Folded Thunder.
